Challenge
Our Community lacks the representation and voice in American professional, social, and political life that we desire. Better organization and mutual support within our community, and greater activism across the rest of society, are needed to overcome this challenge.
Goal
Elevate our community’s representation, image, and stature through mutual support, collective action, and meaningful contributions to American society, empowering us and our next generation to achieve our personal and professional potential.
Theory of change
Able & Willing
A close-knit community of able and willing individuals can make a significant impact on their standing within society through mutual support and collective activism.
Small Acts, Many Actors
Simple actions by many over time change community destinies. Effective initiatives (“plays”) already exist: we need to adopt and scale them for personal and professional success.
Leaning In
If we are to have more representation and strength - to not be “the others” - within our society, we need to embrace social, cultural, and political activism. We must lean into the challenge of under representation and have a more activist mindset.

The K2 Playbook
There are many simple, effective actions and initiatives (“plays”) that can help a community gain strength, representation, and stature. If these plays are adopted and scaled across our community, they will help us achieve our mission of moving from individual success to collective significance.
Here are just a few sample plays, categorized under professional activism and social activism plays. They range from simple, mindful acts to easily organized events and initiatives. Many, many more plays exist! Imagine if all of us had done many of these for the past 20 years!
